Grupo NOV supports the production of protective material in Mozambique | NOV Group

NOV Engenharia e Construções Mozambique delivered to the Recycling and Services Organization on May 20th, various materials to produce approximately 1,000 individual protection visors.

This is another action by Grupo NOV to promote its social responsibility value. This time in the international market with a view to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The Recycling and Services Organization is currently producing protective material for free delivery to healthcare professionals, police, markets, and others. The visors are very simple, but effective, having been properly submitted to the National Directorate of Public Health.

The delivery took place at the Josina Machel School in the city of Maputo, and the team of NOV Engenharia e Construções was received by supervisor Sérgio Contente. The Director, Rui Andrade e Silva, thanked us for the nobility of the company's gesture, since the donated material will help the Mozambican population in fighting this pandemic and in this specific case, especially those who work in the health sector.

Fernando Paulino, of the NOV Engenharia e Construções team, recalls the importance of this type of support by companies in fighting the pandemic in this country so that it is more effective. Mozambique has a mostly impoverished population and being able to give some help to this community is a real satisfaction for the entire Grupo NOV team.
